Travelers will be met at the 5-star Hospes Puerta de Alcalá Hotel at 10:00 AM. Enjoy a panoramic tour of Madrid and lunch in the capital. In the afternoon, we will travel to Aranjuez, where the train awaits. Welcome toast and boarding. We will then visit the Royal Palace of Aranjuez and its gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where history and beauty fill every corner. Dinner will be served on board. Overnight in Aranjuez.
After breakfast, we'll visit Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage city that was once the most monumental imperial city in Europe. The blend of Christian, Muslim, and Jewish influences, reflected in its architectural heritage—the Gothic cathedral, the 10th-century mosque, and two synagogues—has given Toledo its universal character. Lunch in Toledo and free time before returning to the train in Aranjuez. While we have dinner on board, the train will arrive in Alcázar de San Juan. Overnight in Alcázar de San Juan.
After breakfast, we'll visit the production facilities of two of the most renowned products of this region of La Mancha, internationally known for its cheeses and wines. We'll visit an artisanal cheese factory and a winery. Lunch will be served in the area. In the afternoon, we'll travel to Campo de Criptana, with its distinctive windmills, a source of inspiration for Cervantes in his novel Don Quixote. We'll return to Alcázar de San Juan, from where we'll depart by train, after dinner, to Cáceres. Overnight in Cáceres.
After breakfast on board, we will visit Cáceres, a UNESCO World Heritage City, where the streets, squares, and palaces are magnificently preserved, thanks to its rich cultural mix that makes Cáceres a unique cultural experience. Later, we will travel by train to Mérida for lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit this ancient Roman city, also a UNESCO World Heritage City, founded in 25 BC, where we will explore its ruins and learn about its history. While we have dinner on board, the train will depart for Jerez. Overnight in Jerez de la Frontera.
After breakfast, we'll enjoy the city and the show "How the Andalusian Horses Dance," a famous equestrian ballet set to Spanish music. Lunch will be at a local restaurant, followed by an afternoon visit to a popular winery. Dinner will be on board, and we'll spend the night in Jerez.
After breakfast, we'll depart for Cádiz, popularly known as the "Little Silver Cup" and considered the oldest city in the Western world. Lunch will be served on board as the train travels to Córdoba, where we'll visit its Mosque-Cathedral and continue our tour of what was once the capital of the medieval Emirate and Caliphate of Al-Andalus, at the time the largest, most cultured, and most opulent city in Western Europe. Dinner and overnight stay in Córdoba.
After our final breakfast upon arrival in Seville, we'll bid farewell to the train and its crew. We'll then visit Seville, home to the largest historic center in Spain. A UNESCO World Heritage City, it boasts a wealth of artistic treasures and beautiful gardens. The trip concludes at the 4-star Hospes Las Casas del Rey Hotel in Baeza around 4:00 PM.
