“El Transcantábrico” train was born in 1983, as a result of a dream that seemed unrealizable more than thirty years ago: the creation of the first tourist train in Spain.

After successive transformations and improvements, today it is an authentic luxurious hotel on rails, whose historic halls and suites perfectly combine the charm of the evocative trains of the early twentieth century, with the most advanced comfort of the twenty-first century.
